NOTICE OF STORE CLOSING/

HIDDEN HILL ESTATE SALE MANAGEMENT CONTINUES

It is with a sense of sadness and pride that we inform our many customers that our store closed on October 29, 2011.  We have greatly appreciated the enthusiasm and loyalty that have helped sustain and grow the business over the past two years.  Thank you all for your valued support.  We have worked hard on a business that simply could not survive the challenges of this economy.  You may still contact us with any questions or concerns.

Much of our unsold merchadise is now being sold by Hamilton Antique & Auction Gallery in Tacoma, WA.  You may attend their auctions in person, or bid online at any of several auction houses:  Proxibid, AuctionZip, Artfact, and iCollector.  Upcoming auctions will feature the remainder of all shop items.

The appraisal and estate sale management sectors of our business will continue into the future, and those services will be expanded, and provided without interruption.  Please direct any questions or concerns to store co-owner and manager, Ron Martinez.

A Special Destination

(now the location only of our art gallery, open by appointment only)
Located on 10 acres of natural vegetation, wildlife, and Weiser Creek, is our art gallery. During your shopping breaks, take a quiet stroll up and down forested and garden paths. Sit and meditate, get glimpses of deer, rabbits, and squirrels, and take in the beautiful views, especially at sunset. Meet our lovable, resident pet Jacxon (a cairn terrier). You and your guests are always welcome by appointment.

History Behind Hidden Hill
Ron Martinez has been in the antique business for over 30 years, formerly owner of Rusty Nail Antiques (est. 1979 in Portland, Oregon) and then entrepreneur/owner of Rusty Nail Antiques Mall (est. 1983 in Renton, Washington). The antique mall was the first of its kind in King County. Ron has been involved in all areas of antiques, as a seller, buyer, appraiser, mentor, restorer, and teacher.  He has been featured in newspaper articles and on a local television station.  He continues to learn and fine-tune his knowledge and variety of skills in this ever-changing business.  Ken Eisenberger, co-owner and art buyer has been collecting contemorary art for 30 years, and his collection has been featured on an art tour hosted by Art Encounter in Chicago.  His antique movable book collection was featured at the grand re-opening of the Everett Public Library.  He participates in buying antiques and collectibles for the shop, and manages the art gallery..

Expansion Goals Met!
Over the past few years we have tripled the size of the antique shop, developed our refinishing and restoration services, expanded our estate sale management services, added a full and magical art gallery, opened our tea garden, and developed more gardens and pathways to quiet spaces for reflection and visual splendor. Some areas are now even available for weddings and other private functions and affairs.
